In November, we led a letter that was signed by 21 national Jewish organizations and sent to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. In December, we led, with ADL, JFNA and Hadassah, and cosponsored by 20 other Jewish organizations a community briefing entitled, “Community Briefing on the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism,” which featured all four former envoys who spoke about the importance and impact of the position. 422 people attended. We applaud the Senate for moving forward the nomination process.

In particular, the report ignores the existential threats Israel has faced since it was founded, and the continuing threats to the safety and security of its citizens. To read the statement, click here.
